Paying for your Vintage on the Ridge order couldn't be easier. I accept PayPal as a primary payment method. You do not need an account to use PayPal, which is the most secure way to pay for your order. Click the banner below to get all the information you need about using PayPal.
PayPal also offers a deferred payment plan if you wish to take advantage of that for a larger purchase. You will apply to PayPal at the time of payment - look for the explanation of that when you are at PayPal during the checkout process.
If you prefer to pay by check, I understand, and you may do so. I always wait for your check to clear the banks before shipping orders. Any check returned for insufficient funds will be charged $30 - no exceptions.
Vintage on the Ridge ships products using USPS whenever possible. For smaller items, it is much more economical for my customers. Most items will ship via Priority Mail for the same reason. I will always look for less expensive alternatives when necessary. Because shipping has gotten so complicated to estimate in the shopping cart systems, I package and weight each item and add its actual shipping cost into the price. I use an average distance calculation from my location to the farthest shipping point. Larger items may ship via UPS if size and weight warrant that shipping method.
The shopping cart will charge the average shipping charge as part of the product price. If the actual shipping amount is grossly higher than the charged shipping, I will contact you to collect additional shipping.
You will receive an emailed tracking number after your order ships so you never have to worry about when your order will arrive.
50% of everything I sell is one-of-a-kind and hand crafted. Therefore, allowable returns are limited. Items that are defective may be returned. If damage occurs in shipping, you need to address that with your local post office or UPS store.
Antique and vintage items are not eligible for returns. I do my very best to describe any defects or wear for those items so you are not surprised or disappointed when your order arrives. Please be sure to enlarge the photos to get a clear look at the item before you purchase.
Hand-lettered signs and other home décor may use upcycled materials and will not always appear brand new due to the nature of those materials. They will be described along with the photos, so if you are not a lover of authentic rust or reclaimed wood, you might want to pass on those items that use those materials.
You must contact me for a return authorization before sending an item back. I will determine if it is an allowable return and issue an authorization number.
Shipping for all returns is at the buyer’s expense. But, if you pay using PayPal and sign up for their Return Shipping is on Us program, PayPal will pay your return shipping costs up to $30 - check that out HERE. It’s pretty great!
Returned items must be securely and safely packaged with the original sales receipt included. Ship only using the method used to get the item to you - USPS or UPS. Any authorized returned goods that arrive damaged due to insufficient packing will be refused and sent back to the buyer. Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If your return is approved, a refund will be processed and a credit applied to your original method of payment.
